Hamiltonban Township is seeking an experienced, customer service focused, and team oriented leader to serve as Secretary/Treasurer. This individual will serve as the chief administrative officer of the Township and be responsible for the daily administration of the Municipal office. Candidates must have strong organizational, financial, and communication skills, and must be able to be bonded. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks is a must. Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in municipal management, budget development, grant writing and administration. The Candidate need not be a resident of the Township. A Public Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, September 6th at 7:00 PM at the Township Office regarding the application that was received for a proposal for an addition to the Hamiltonban Township Agricultural Security Area at 36 Water Street.

Volunteers are needed to fill vacancies on the Board of Auditors and the Ag Security Area (ASA) Advisory Committee.
The Auditors meet once on the first Tuesday of the year to review the Township financial statements and set the Working Supervisor pay rate. Musselman & Creager LLP audits the Township's financial reports each year. The ASA Committee meets as needed to advise the Board with matters relating to the ASA.
